Racing
Members of the club take part in regattas and other racing events throughout the year. The racing season usually kicks off with the Three Rivers race hosted by Cornish club, Caradon. For the past couple of years Affinity has entered crews into the Swanage regatta, part of the Jurassic League. And club members have also taken part in challenge events such as the Great River Race on the Thames in London, and the Hamble River Raid.

Home
As well as travelling to events across the country, the club works together with the three other rowing clubs on the Ouse to host two ‘home’ events — the Seaford Bay Regatta and the Head of the Ouse. In 2025 the regatta will take place on Saturday 5th July, and HOTO25 is on Saturday 27th September.

Away
ARC has raced at the World Pilot Gig Championships for the last four years and attended will be attending in 2026.
Here are the men's crew racing in 2025 with our cox, Oli.
We have also taken part in Swanage Regatta, London Cornish Regatta, and the Three Rivers Race. We have raced at Hamble River Raid, Bembridge Fest, Tudor Challenge and will be at the CPGA County Championships, Five Islands and Three Harbours.
