Head of the Ouse
The annual Head of the Ouse takes place on the River Ouse in Sussex every autumn. It’s a challenging 10km race for all types of fixed-seat rowing craft, including Cornish gigs, St Ayles skiffs and Celtic longboats. There are two back-to-back races — the first upriver for men’s & open crews, the second back downriver for women’s crews.
